Barcelona Activa and the Official College of Physicians of Barcelona jointly
organized the Ready4Growth seminar aimed at innovative companies and entrepreneurs
in the health sector (biotech / pharma, medical devices, healthcare services and
information technology applied to the medical field).
The aim of the seminar was to bring together projects and entrepreneurs
with potential investors, helping them to define their project and improve
their presentation in order to get funding. The seminar had expert talks,
networking and one-to-one partnering. The seminar covered success factors and
failure of entrepreneurship in the health sector, the strategies for patent
protection, regulatory aspects in the development of a project and company presentations
to venture capital.
Lidia Cánovas and our US Agent, Bruce E. Thompson, were speakers at Table 3 “Importance of regulatory aspects in the development plan and costs of a
project. How and when is best to contact regulatory agencies?”.
Ready4Growth took place on November 24 2014, at the Growth Centre, Roc Boronat 117, Barcelona (the seminar wase held in catalán).
