In 2018, CataloniaBio & HealthTech launched a Regulatory Affairs Workgroup (WG) that is coordinated by Lidia Cánovas (Asphalion) and Lluís Chico (NEOS Surgery) with support from Melqui Calzado (secretary general).
This WG implemented a series of coffee work meetings, called Hard Reg Cafè, to share concerns regarding regulatory issues, debate topics of interest or bring a prestigious guest in this strategic field for CataloniaBio & HealthTech biopharmaceutical, medical technology and digital health start-ups and companies.
The first Hard Reg Cafè occurred on 22 October and was a success.
Next Monday, 4 February, will occur the second networking coffee meeting in which will be discussed:
- Implementing the new European regulations on medical devices (MDR)
- Raising awareness and encouraging practical use of the Expedited Pathways
